Rule 1: The "Own Words" Mandate. Do not copy/paste from the textbook. Paraphrasing is a powerful form of initial encoding. You must process the info to rewrite it.

Rule 2: The Conciseness Constraint. Keep answers brief but complete. Makes recall easier and assessment faster.

Step 5: Running the Simulation — The 5-Step Loop

  1. Hide. Start with toggles closed / cards down.
  2. Read. Select a question.
  3. Retrieve. Attempt to answer from memory.
  4. Check. Reveal the hidden answer.

The trap: "Yeah, I basically know that."
