Outline

What this module will cover

Tentative outline pending the live content pull.

Not a series of weeks

The semester is a project

  • Treat the syllabus as a roadmap, not a surprise.
  • Identify the immovable rocks first: midterms, finals, papers, projects.
  • Schedule the prep backwards from those dates.

Outcome vs. process

Goals that survive contact with reality

  • Outcome goals. Grade targets, score thresholds, project milestones.
  • Process goals. Hours of focused study, drills completed, weekly reviews held.
  • You need both. Outcomes set the direction; process gets you there.

30-minute Sunday ritual

The weekly review

  • Pull the semester plan into this week's calendar.
  • Port the week's deliverables into the to-do list (Module 2.2).
  • Block out spaced-review and anti-cramming sessions (Module 2.3, 2.4).
This week

Mid-semester course correction

When the plan breaks — and it will — you re-plan. Pull up the syllabus, find the next immovable date, and rebuild backwards from there.
